Could you take on a leading role in a charity that’s passionate about everyone having the opportunity to make the most of later life?
As we grow older we all face new challenges, but that doesn’t stop us from wanting a fulfilling and independent later life. Age UK Sutton is committed to everyone having the opportunity to make the very best of life as we grow older, whatever the circumstances, wants and needs.
Age is different for everyone and, of course, the challenges and the demands are different for everyone, too. At Age UK Sutton, we are many things to many people – a source of advice, information, companionship and support, among many other things.
We are currently recruiting for two new Trustees: Fundraising Committee Chair and Trustee with Operations/Service Delivery experience at senior level.
Fundraising Committee Chair
We are looking for a dynamic person of the highest calibre to become the Chair of Age UK Sutton’s Fundraising Committee. The successful applicant will advise, guide, challenge and support the strategic direction of Age UK Sutton’s fundraising as a critical friend to the CEO and her team in order to grow and maintain increased income streams, ensuring that Age UK Sutton continues to go from strength to strength.
Trustee with Operations/Service Delivery experience
We are also seeking an operations professional to join Age UK Sutton’s Board of Trustees to provide strategic insight, oversight and advice for the delivery of all our services for older people. We are committed to our operations being of the highest standards and will look to the successful candidate for knowledge, experience and a broad range of skills to ensure our service delivery is second to none.
These are exciting opportunities to be involved in helping to fulfil Age UK Sutton’s goal to enable older people across Sutton to love later life. We are looking for a Fundraising Chair and an Operations/Service Delivery Trustee to provide expertise to help lead and steer these critical elements of our work and who share our ambition to achieve the best older people’s services that are shaped by local needs and experiences.
