Trustee - Company Secretary and Trustee - Income Generation

Background

We are Teamwork Trust – a North Northamptonshire charity and social enterprise with three centres in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough. We work with and support autistic adults and people with learning disabilities and mental health needs, providing a safe, friendly, supportive environment where we actively encourage a ‘can do’ culture.

We care and are passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to the same chances, choices and opportunities, and we embrace and celebrate individual needs and abilities.

Teamwork Trust has a proud history of service delivery and has well developed strategic plans to grow and enhance its services for people with mental health, learning disabilities and autism, ensuring that it remains true to its established values of cultural diversity and equal opportunities. With our new Chair joining, it’s a great time to get involved.

We are recruiting for two new Trustees, one with the skills and abilities to become our Company Secretary and one with an income generation background.

Company Secretary

The company secretary’s role ensures that the charity complies with the requirements of company law. It is a strategic position of considerable influence at the heart of governance operations within our organisation. Whilst there are no formal qualifications required, you may have skills/experience across company and charity law, finance, governance and strategy. The successful candidate will have exemplary organisation skills and management experience at a senior level.

Income Generation Trustee

We are looking for a new Trustee who can help us structure our service offer to increase our economic sustainability. The successful candidate will have a record of income generation, creating corporate relationships and leveraging charity assets. Knowledge about enterprise or trading would be beneficial as well as the ability to support the board in thinking strategically about income generation.

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, be willing to be ambassadors for Teamwork Trust, be interested in developing opportunities for the organisation and have a real empathy and passion for the work we do.
