About the role of Trustee – Honorary Treasurer
This is a unique opportunity to join an enthusiastic, vibrant and diverse Board of Trustees with a passion for ensuring the Guild delivers on its charitable objectives and remains fit for purpose and viable for the future.
The role provides oversight of the Guild’s financial management and commercial operations and provides advice to the Chair. This is a governance rather than accounting role and will also provide an opportunity to guide and mentor one of the Student Trustees. Furthermore, this opportunity will also expand your network and present an opportunity to have strategic involvement with a membership of 24,000 students.
About the Liverpool Guild of Students
Liverpool Guild of Students is a registered charity that represents students at the University of Liverpool. Once the home of the traditional “Union bar”, the Guild is now a multi-faceted operation that covers student recreation, clubs and societies, welfare, student representation and student campaigning.
The Guild represent the students of the University of Liverpool, making sure they enjoy their time at University and making sure they are at the heart of everything they do.
