At Independent Age, we believe that no older person should face financial hardship. That’s why, by 2027, our goal is to have improved the lives of one million older people. This is an exciting time to join Independent Age as we work to increase our profile, impact and reach so more people can live a happy, connected and purposeful later life.
This newly created role will ensure frameworks and measures are developed to enable effective evaluation of impact across a range of activities including our information and advice provision, grants activity, partnership working and our policy, influencing and campaigning work. The postholder will lead on establishing practices and processes for translating learning, based on data, evidence, and insights, into change and on embedding a culture of learning across the charity.
Applicants should have demonstrable experience of successfully leading and being the authoritative voice on impact and evaluation in a charitable organisation. With experience of developing outcomes and impact measurement frameworks, advising internal and external stakeholders on impact measurement tools and processes, and of commissioning and working with external bodies to undertake research and evaluation, applicants should have demonstrable experience of successfully using data and research to inform service delivery and decision making.
