Founded in 2008, the Foundation has already distributed £1.75 million in grants to over 1,000 community organisations across the Wakefield Metropolitan District. The Foundation is dedicated to strengthening local communities, creating opportunities and tackling issues of disadvantage and exclusion.
About the Foundation Director role
The Chair and Trustees are seeking applications for this exciting opportunity to develop and lead a high-profile charity supporting the communities of Wakefield District, following the retirement of the current director later this year.
We are looking for someone with a passion for community development, who is an innovative, flexible leader with prior fundraising or income generating experience and comfortable in public, private and voluntary sector settings.
