Norfolk Community Law Service (NCLS) is looking to recruit a full time Chief Executive Officer on the retirement of the present postholder in September 2019.
A registered charity, NCLS is committed to improving access to social justice. We provide free legal advice, specialist advice and representation across a range of services, including debt, welfare benefits, family court matters, employment, domestic abuse and immigration.
NCLS recently celebrated its 35th anniversary having grown from a small organisation to one which now has 19 members of staff and 130 volunteers, supporting just under 3,000 clients per annum and playing a lead role in the advice sector. Our services operate across Norfolk and we are nationally recognised for the effectiveness of our working partnerships and innovative practice.
We welcome applicants who
- have proven strategic and management skills
- have experience of playing a key role in fundraising, commissioning and financial management
- have extensive experience of the voluntary and/or statutory sectors, ideally relating to the provision of advice services
- have excellent skills in networking and building effective working partnerships
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate effective communication and people skills and have a passionate commitment to our aims and objectives.
